Photographer, Skier, Adventurer
Hello my name is Scott Dietel and I was born in Colorado in 1989.
My parents put me on skis when I was 2 years old and I have loved the sport ever since. My passion for skiing translated into a passion for capturing the enjoyment and pure adrenaline of the sport in photos and video.
I graduated from the University of Colorado with a BS in Environmental Engineering in the summer of 2013 and attended the Image Quest photo camp at Valle Nevado, Chile in August of 2013. Some of the photos submitted in my final portfolio from the camp were published in Skiing Magazine (Jan 14′).
In Winter 2013-14 I was a resort photographer at Jackson Hole Mountain Resorts in Jackson Hole, WY where I currently reside.
Telling stories and conveying emotion through stills and video present unique challenges. Meeting that challenge and creating memorable and unexpected experiences for my audience is my goal as a photographer.
